Our Animals

Every animal at Koch Animal Rescue and Sanctuary has a story—of resilience, healing, and hope. From the moment they arrive, each one becomes part of our family. Some come from neglect or abandonment, others from situations where families could no longer care for them. No matter their past, every animal who joins us receives safety, love, and a second chance at life.

 

Our sanctuary is home to a diverse and ever-growing family of rescued residents, including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, peafowl, and Vietnamese potbelly pigs. Some stay with us permanently due to special needs or health concerns, while others are lovingly prepared for adoption into forever homes.

 

Through daily care, veterinary support, enrichment, and gentle socialization, we help each animal regain trust and thrive. Volunteers play an important role in their journey—whether through feeding, cleaning, or simply sharing kindness and calm.
